*Half-Day, Morning: 10AM-2PM
*Maximum Capacity: 12 persons
*Operator Qualification: A pre-qualified boat operator is required for all bareboat rentals where a USCG Captain will not be hired by the renter. Extensive experience is not necessary, but some experience is preferred. Don't be intimidated however... we offer a on-the-water operating instructions prior to the rental, when necessary. Please contact us with questions.
*Reservation Deposit: A 25% Reservation Deposit is required to secure a reservation.
*Rental Fee: Rental Fee (listed above) must be paid-in-full 72 hours prior to rental.
*Security Deposit: All rentals require a security deposit of $500, due 72 hours prior to rental.
*Holidays: Holiday rentals are limited to full-day only; pricing subject to change.

WHAT IS A "BAREBOAT CHARTER"? - A bareboat charter is an arrangement for the chartering or hiring of a ship or boat, whereby no crew or provisions are provided as a part of the agreement. This means that the renter is responsible for driving the vessel, and fully liable for activities aboard the vessel during the rental period.
CAN I HIRE A DRIVER OR CREW? Yes, a renter may hire a licensed USCG captain for the rental. By Federal law, San Diego Pontoon Boat Rental cannot facilitate this transaction, however we can provide information to you about available USCG captains in the San Diego area. Rates vary based upon availability and time of year.
WHAT IS "BEACH PICKUP/DROP-OFF"? Normal rentals depart and return from South Shores Park, located at the South/East corner of Mission Bay Park. We will pick up and drop off you and your party from any accessible beach location within Mission Bay Park for an additional charge.
